AppsFlyer has released their latest Performance Index, “the industry standard for ranking the best media sources in mobile advertising.” Adperio is honored to not only be included on the index, but to have reached new heights in the Power Rankings. "Similar companies may beat us on sheer volume," says Matthew Lord, Chief Strategy Officer, "but the Power Ranking is what's important to us. It's what's important to our clients. It reflects our approach." Adperio delivers millions of installs a month on behalf of its clients, but looks beyond the install to ensure its traffic exceeds client expectations for engaged and ROI-positive consumers.
AppsFlyer describes their methodology as follows:
POWER RANKING: VOLUME, RETENTION & AVERAGE SESSIONS PER USER, COMBINED
We normalized the number of clean (fraud-free) installs generated by each media source in addition to its clean quality score, and combined the two factors. We then factored an additional fraud penalty based on the network’s overall fraud rate for the region in question.
Adperio ranked 11th in volume for North American iOS non-gaming installs and 7th in the Power Rankings for the same category. “In a list where the top three are Facebook, Google, and Apple, that’s quite an achievement,” says David Porteous, VP of Sales and Strategic Development, “and great validation for the client-centric business we’ve built at Adperio.”
McClain Morris, Publisher Manager, had a message for Facebook, the platform that holds the top position on the Power Rankings. “Watch out Zuckerburg - we’re coming for you.” She is the first to admit she might have overdone it on the coffee this morning.
